About Rob Brisk
Robert D. Brisk is the leader of The Wellington Initiative, an organization connected The Wellington School which he led for 12 years. The initiative seeks to change the conversation about education to include the imperative of empowering students and teachers.His credits include nationally recognized curricular innovations, faculty professional development initiatives, successful capital campaigns, and master and strategic plans. Mr. Brisk came to Wellington from Oregon Episcopal School (OES), a PreK to 12 day and residential school in Portland, Oregon. In his eight years there he has served as Acting Head of School, Associate Head of School, and Head of the Upper School. Prior to OES, he spent 19 years at Dwight-Englewood School in New Jersey, his alma mater. During that time he was Upper School head; Middle School grade level advisor; and teacher of Latin, history, and ethics. He launched a curriculum reform at Dwight-Englewood School that led to the school’s much-lauded Senior Focus Program.Mr. Brisk earned an A.B. in Classics from Princeton University and his M.Ed. from Harvard University.
