Worked for the British Civil Service for 21 years in Labour Offices and then in Training and Development. at a national training centreDuring this period I ran CIPD accredited Certificate in Training and Development and Diploma in Training Management.I have worked on a range of International Projects in 14 countries since 1991 including::Carrying out a review of the Timor Leste Civil Service Commission (2013)Carrying out a training needs analysis for the Cambodian Trade SWaP programme (2012) Developing the Training function in the Department for Provincial and Rural Affairs in Papua New Guinea (2010-2011)Developing the training capacity of the Ethiopian Management Training School.Developing the capacity of the Bosnian Public Administrative Reform Department.Developing Training and Development strategy for the Polish Ministry of Labour and Social Policy.Developing a staff performance management system for the Hungarian Ministry of Labour.Management Training for the Latvian Employment Department.Developing Russian academic staff to carry out training needs analyses and development of their staff training capability. .The above are indicative of experience of International Work.My goals for the next 3 -5 years are to undertake further overseas work in a key expert/long term role.Specialties: Developing the staff training function , including training strategy,policy and training of trainers.Training needs analysis and evaluationDeveloping Staff Appraisal systems.A range of generic training for managers and staff .
