Manage and support the Trade Counter Retail operation in the North West Region. Driving communications and KPIs towards Sales and Customer Satisfaction along with Staff and Management Development. Business planning and Sales Strategy go hand in hand with day to day management and troubleshooting. Challenging role covering all aspects of a specialist B2B Supplier that is expanding both as a retailer and in sales and distribution.

Arco Trafford Park

Day to day management of the Trafford Park Trade Counter to drive staff development to deliver sales and KPIs. Hands on and face to face presence on the shop floor selling and man managing all aspects of a busy Trade Counter. Showing year on year sales growth over the last 16 years along with several successfully developed sales and management individuals - A record of which I am proud of.

Recruited to pilot a full time concession of Hamleys House of Toys within House of Fraser Kendal's Manchester and subsequently took responsibility of opening and closing 8 satellite stores over the Christmas period along with Area Manager cover of another 6 permanent stores in the North - Strong Merchandising, Customer Service Standard, Retail Sales, Recruitment and Staff Development were paramount for Hamleys and House of Fraser. Poshest Retailing I ever did !!

Floor Sales Manager in a FMCG Discount Department Store - Lots of common sense retailing and an eye for what sells along with high customer satisfaction and loyalty - Man management was hands on and required a Good sense of humour and persuasive approach.
