Responsible for managing a team of five Sourcing & Contract Leads, which support the Corporate Services spend category including Real Estate, Human Resources, Travel & Entertainment and Consulting Services. With an annual savings target of $21.5M ($11M Capex/$10.5M Opex) our objective was achieved through delivering cost optimization activities.As part of my management duties I developed a Corporate Services SSM on-boarding program for all new hires. This included communicating our structured RACI SSM & Category Management for delivery of sourcing activities, highlighting key systems and tool training.Implemented self-serve sourcing options for low-touch procurement activities, which allowed BU clients to engage service providers more quickly while ensuring compliance to policy.

Responsible for Rogers Procurement & Supplier Management's contribution to Rogers CSR mandate through the development and implementation of our Ethical Procurement Practices (EPP) framework.Represent Rogers interests in the Joint Audit Cooperation (JAC), an association of international telecom operators in the ICT industry. The aim of JAC is to raise sustainability & CSR awareness towards common suppliers to ensure adherence to internationally recognized standards along the ICT supply chain and uphold human rights, social, labour and environmental standards.Developed and maintained a database of over 200 strategic suppliers to Rogers, while segmenting each based on volume of spend and risk variables. Led the supplier integration with the acquisition of Mobilicity to ensure business continuity while leveraging existing supplier relationships to yield additional value to Rogers. This decreased costs of existing Mobilicity supplier agreements by an additional 10%.

Led the change management function and collaborated with various internal and external stakeholders. Supported the transition of over 500+ vendors to Rogers first generational outsourced service provider in under three months without disruption in service continuity. Supported Rogers Get Up and Get Green initiative through development of strategic partnerships and negotiations with our Waste and Recycling, Janitorial and Food Services suppliers.

Performed as the strategic procurement lead for the acquisition of goods and services on behalf of the Project Services and Strategic Asset Management business units, while acting in accordance with myriad of governmental policies. Prepared and developed contract award recommendations to senior levels of management and government officials.  Responsible for managing the Construction Management firms on the Toronto Accommodation Plan (TAP) projects to ensure they abide by the contract terms and focus on continuous improvement. Developed a trade contract recommendation process to increase transparency in costs, mitigate against bid rigging and protect the reputation of the organization.  Developed competitive procurement evaluation processes and guidelines, which were adopted by the organization to ensure ORC Strategic Sourcing and business units followed a consistent approach to promote greater objectivity in the evaluation process of competitive bids.  Represented ORC at the Supply Ontario Reverse Trade Show, where I presented and educated suppliers from all facets on how to do business with ORC and Government of Ontario ministries.

Responsible for managing and governing over $250 million/annum in external vendor spend, with a strong focus on real estate outsourcing service providers. Provided contract and procurement related services support to a multi-faceted range of spend categories including real estate, planning and engineering, travel and entertainment, call centres and human resource services. Managed and led a team of two Contract Specialists and several offshore administrative staff, who were responsible for transactional contract creation and administration. Saved $20 million over two years, by developing category strategies and executing competitive bids, effective contract negotiations, demand management by revising and developing various policies.  Implemented business controls/processes such as service level agreements, quarterly business reviews, supplier performance surveys, scope of work and change order reviews, which dramatically reduced corporate liability & contractual risks with vendors. Was entrusted to revamp our supplier performance methods to ensure a robust and diligent process was followed. Results achieved included a consistent approach in evaluating existing suppliers using an objective evaluation scale, creation of benchmarking data and an open concept feedback mechanism that focused on continuous improvement.

Primary contact for the creation and negotiation of custom contracts for Bell’s Enterprise market clients. Ensure contracts conformed to CRTC regulations for ILEC and Non-ILEC contracts through active training and support provided to internal account managers and sales teams. Collected, verified and loaded historical agreements worth over $1 billion in revenue into Bell’s Contract Management System to support revenue assurance requirements.  Responsible for proper control of contracts whether standard or custom by ensuring all relevant stakeholders approved the content of the agreements.  Acted as a system administrator for the Enterprise Order Management system and participated full-time on a contract support hotline for immediate support to Sales, Legal and Client Support teams - serving almost 2,000 employees.  Regularly participated in projects for CRTC compliance activities and other adhoc duties.
