Vantage Operations Director & Transformation Specialist, Keynote Speaker & Strategic Advisor. My passion is to help Social Housing providers get more for every pound that they spend. I do this by providing them with new approaches & strategic guidance for buying better and working smarter. I work in some capacity with over 75 Housing Providers - through specific assignments to help them deliver savings & improve VFM. I facilitate a range of director forums and collaboration programmes including the Zero Carbon Club, Improvement Club for FDs and Customer First Programme tackling the sharp rise in complaints. Some of my recent assignments include:• Strategic lead on major VFM programme for largest housing provider in Wales following multiple mergers - resulting in significant efficiency & procurement savings• Facilitated Executive team project through analysis and workshops to identify efficiency savings targets across their whole organisation• Completed DLO & asset management review to inform future direction following merger of two providers. Implementation of new performance framework and accountability structures.• Facilitated the development of a new Value Proposition, prioritisation of change programme and strategic objectives• Helped embed a new approach to procurement and contract management; resulting in significant improvements in both service performance and long term savings• Setting up an internal repairs & maintenance service in the North East for a housing provider• Implementing a new procurement approach and supply chain with a social housing provider to get significantly better value from their external contractors• Coaching & mentoring a team of managers on how to effectively capture and use performance data more effectivelyDespite the major challenging conditions that Housing Providers are facing, my mission is to help them build financial strength so that they can build vital new homes, provide real social outputs and make a difference to their communities.
