I am an experienced Engineering Professional with a wide range of skills. My early years with Honda exposed me to the Japanese production systems with 2.5 years of Engineering work outside of Tokyo Japan. This work focused on the machining of engine components. Returning to the states my work focused on production optimization to increase capacity with zero base investment. From production I moved into new model project leadership roles. I have experience with automotive R&D, developing products and production methods. With the expansion of Honda into Mexico I worked with the local team to build the powertrain facility, Casting (low and high pressure), Machining and Engine Assembly. The major components were Engine Blocks and Heads. For corporate operations I have managed the powertrain Manufacturing Technical Services Group as well as provided technical leadership as the Chief Technical Evaluator for both Power Train and Frame investments with Honda Engineering North America. My most recent job activity was with a software company in Kentucky, where I was brought on board to improve production operations. This involved both management and leadership in the areas of Quality, Cost and Delivery. This activity employed a great deal of my skill set that was utilized throughout my years at Honda.
