- I left Houston/Stages in 2007, returned to New York City- Shifted my career/life focus to better align with the Buddhist tenet of Right Livelihood- Volunteered: at Bowery Residents Committee (homeless shelter for adults; recognized as Volunteer of the Year 20010) for two years ; Ali Forney Center (homeless shelter program for gay teenagers); also directed for FEGS "Roots&Branches" Program- Adjunct Instructor at Barnard College/Columbia University, Department of Drama 2008-1010, (directed two productions, taught Acting and Directing, helped develop/refine acting track).- Began Chaplaincy studies at New York Zen Center for Contemplative Care 2009.- Relocated to Syracuse July 2011 (my husband, Ralph Zito left his post at Juilliard to take the Chair of the Drama Department, Syracuse University, 2010)-I'm presently a part-time Assistant Professor in the Drama Department at Syracuse University (teaching Beginning, Intermediate and Advanced Acting; Introduction to Directing)- Am presently training at SUNY Upstate Medical University Hospital's Chaplaincy all 2015/16 C.P.E. (Clinical Pastoral Education) program – and loving it!.- Am seeking part or full-time employment as a Spiritual Caregiver, or with a homeless shelter program or gay community organization.
