About Rob Castillo
After six years of starting the addictions training program at Aurora University and being part of the tremendous success, I decided to step down from the administrative position and devote all of my time to the classroom. I love teaching and being a part of the new generation of social workers. I am proud to leave the administrative position with an impeccable reputation and record. Our students have a 100% pass rate for 5 1/2 years straight! I also established the first IAODAPCA approved MISA program in the State of IL. I can now focus on teaching and my clinical practice, two things I love.I have been teaching at Aurora University for seven years now. This is the best position I have had....very rewarding. I have had many great bosses at AU and love seeing my creative ideas come to reality at school. I think the best thing about AU is my colleagues!I also have a small (but growing) practice in Batavia. I share space with Mary McMillan and Dr. Azhar. I work with a variety of populations { robscounselingsite.com } and provide clnical supervision.Specialties: One of my strengths is program development. In my practice I work with addictions, anger management, affective disorders, relationship issues and many other concerns. I also do presentations as well as consultations.
