Much-loved community and arts space The Imaginarium is moving to a permanent new home in the centre of Leeds that will encompass a cafe, plant and record shop, as well as multi-use event space. A soft launch in early October is followed by a grand opening party that will welcome all to what is sure to become a vital and intimate new addition to the city’s landscape. 
 The Imaginarium started life in Kirkstall and soon became a valuable resource for locals with an always interesting program of events. Now it moves to the heart of the city centre but doesn't lose any of its personal touches. The 120 capacity multi-purpose space will be a place to soak up carefully curated events from the worlds of house and techno with parties like Subterranea and The Off Licence hosting, but also an array of tasteful acoustic nights that all make use of what is intended to be a world-class sound system.
