I started with DCP in 2001 as a Trainee I.T & Telecomms Engineer.Build up an understanding of Computers, servers, networks, Routers, Telephone systems & lines.I carried out repairs to computer equipment both in a workshop environment and on-site with our clients.I progressed to Server builds and implementation to site - offering a full solution to customers.I gained experience in data cabling offices, from installations to fault-finding and rectifying issues.Full… Show more I started with DCP in 2001 as a Trainee I.T & Telecomms Engineer.Build up an understanding of Computers, servers, networks, Routers, Telephone systems & lines.I carried out repairs to computer equipment both in a workshop environment and on-site with our clients.I progressed to Server builds and implementation to site - offering a full solution to customers.I gained experience in data cabling offices, from installations to fault-finding and rectifying issues.Full projects were undertaken, from the base cabling to the full I.T. installation to the customer desk.I have also moved into the world of CCTV and enjoy working with the latest technology, giving added peace of mind to our customers and demonstrating the visual quality that is now available.I am now in a managerial position within the company, and am one of the Directors. I still offer the same level of support that I always have, but with the backing of 15 years experience in what I do, and take on-board all aspects of a project from the initial telephone call from a new customer, to the meeting, equipment sourcing, quoting, ordering, project managing, implementation and customer hand-over. From here I offer our customers Maintenance packages and ensure the on-going support of their systems is delivered. I have developed great customer-relation skills and enjoy the challenges this field of work gives.
