About Rob Champion, Cfa

I'm an experienced oil & gas sector analyst with experience across the entire value chain, having worked in roles from E&P to downstream oil trade analysis. My focus at the moment is on the valuation of upstream assets in a variety of regions, primarily across the EMEA region. I've also led a project to apply "big data"​ techniques to the analysis and visualisation of a company's portfolio.I have an extremely strong grounding in computers, with expert knowledge in the Microsoft suite of products, very advanced knowledge of Spotfire and industry-specific software including Palantir and Perspectives. I am a capable programmer, having written a number of programs in Access (SQL and VBA) and analysis algorithms in Java, Matlab and R.I'm an avid skier (when possible) and enjoy equity evaluation in my spare time.
