Construction Manager: - Folsom Auxiliary Spillway Phase 3 - Control Structure, Folsom, CA - $245 million+: 4 year+ Control Structure project consists of the construction of a concrete gravity dam containing six submerged tainter gates. The work includes the excavation to final grade for the Control Structure and a portion of the Approach Channel upstream of the Control Structure; preparation of the foundation beneath the Control Structure including drainage and seepage controls; mass concrete and reinforced concrete placement; procurement, delivery and installation of the tainter and bulkhead gates and their respective mechanical hoist mechanisms; the ventilation system; the electrical, security and operation control systems; the instrumentation and controls.- Client: US Army Corps of Engineers

Project Engineer: - The New I-64 Design/Build, St. Louis, MO - $436 million+: 3 year project covering 9 miles of freeway reconstruction, with 34 bridges and a major freeway to freeway interchange. Sponsored Joint Venture with Fred Weber Inc, and Millstone Bangert. - Client: Missouri Department of Transportation - Duties included partnering with state agency for quality, schedule, project controls and acceptance issues. Working with design staff on design package schedules, change orders, and field changes. Management of engineering staff, contract change pricing and negotiation with owner. Management of field engineering and project controls efforts including subcontract and material coordination, owner billings and reporting, quality issue resolution, and final acceptance coordination.

Project Engineer:- I-494 Design/Build, Minnetonka, MN - $135 million+: 2 ½ year project covering 8 miles of freeway reconstruction and widening, with 14 bridges. Sponsored Joint Venture with C.S.McCrossan. - Client: Minnesota Department of Transportation - Duties included working with State agency for, coordination of traffic staging and quality/acceptance issues. Working with design staff on design development issues, field changes and final closeout documents. Management of engineering staff, contract change pricing and negotiation with owner. Responsible for project controls, cost accounting, forecasting, subcontract and purchase order review. Managing preparation and submittal of monthly pay estimate, budget change orders (BCO’s), contract change orders (CCO’s), schedule updates and progress reports.

Field/Office/Schedule Engineer: - Hiawatha Light Rail Design/Build, Minneapolis, MN - $300 million+: 4 year light rail transit project, running through multiple cities, governmental and airport properties. Sponsored Joint Venture with C.S. McCrossan. - Client: Minnesota Department of Transportation - Duties included coordinating with several State, City, Federal entities to implement staging plans, and traffic control. Working with adjacent projects to coordinate work schedules and scope clarification. Working with designers on design development and staging of construction, as well as field issues and changes. Duties also included the creation and monthly maintenance of a 7,000-activity CPM schedule. Management of subcontracts, weekly/monthly quantities, cost changes, contract modifications and contract negotiations with owners. Also coordinated all maintenance of traffic activities including designing traffic plans, obtaining approval from authorities and managing traffic control subcontractor.

Field/Cost/Schedule Engineer: - I-17 Design/Build, Phoenix, AZ - $86 million+: 22 month project covering 7 miles of freeway widening, with 2 major interchange bridges. Sponsored Joint Venture with Sundt Construction - Client: Arizona Department of Transportation - Duties included coordinating with State and City agencies for traffic control notification and approval, interacting with designers for field issues and changes. Responsible for monthly & weekly schedule updates. Coordinating traffic control with subcontractors & own forces. Oversight of installation of $11 million of lighting & fiber optic equipment. Setup of night shift traffic control & subcontractor work. Coordinating Mill & Overlay, Paving subcontractors. Schedule subcontractor work with work of own forces. Perform subcontractor and major supplier payments.
