Key Achievements Project managed the smooth transfer of IT systems when the Establishments senior management and administrators relocated buildings without impact to their work flow.With the early departure of the IT Manager, was tasked with decommissioning and disposal of the legacy IT network following the Defence Information Infrastructure Future, DII(F) system's installation.Allocation of incoming work to team of 4 based on skill set and locality of any existing tasks.Responsible for ensuring the team stays within its response times while delivering a high standard of service to the establishment.Provide the establishment with 24hr access to both the internal military WAN and the civilian internet.One of only three personnel, responsible for control of classified material on the station.Regularly called upon to work unsociable or extended hours at little or no warning to ensure minimal disruption to the client base.Focal point within the team for unusual fault diagnosis.

Team lead for a small military and civilian team providing network administration, 1st/2nd line repair. Also supervised the establishments Information Management team.

Employed as the senior operator of three on an IT Helpdesk, giving first line support to over 800 occupants of a restricted access building within a frontline operational RAF Station. This role required communication skills with the customer base then translating that information for further technical support.Responsible for all auditing and stock control of IT consumables within the building.Worked overseas as part of a small team in support of on-going operations.

Operated and first line maintance on various communications systems including morse code at various locations around the UK and Worldwide.

This role covered the management of the British Telecoms (BT) lines, mobile phones and classified material on a high profile RAF Station during a time of increased support to overseas operations, while at the same time, that establishment was undergoing a complete rebuild. Key Achievement On arrival was tasked with project managing the installation of a new telephone exchange system to be installed by BT Engineers. This was successfully completed on time and within budget.Promoted to the role of manager while that post was vacant. Managed a team of 10 military and civilian technicians with diverse roles.Complete logistics control for all classified material on the establishment.Liaison between BT engineers, site customers and other off site agency's.Responsible for routine control of £50,000 + telecoms budget as well as monthly audit of all telephone calls made from the establishment.Between August 2007 and March 2008 worked as Office Manager for a small UK/US unit overseas. Project managed the refurbishment of the office area without loss of IT connectivity or impact to operational output. Also responsible for the unit's fleet of 6 vehicles, classified and unclassified IT systems, control of all staff arrivals and departures among other duties.

Appointed as a member of an 8 man team that gave mission critical support to the RAF's Nimrod aircraft operations. Due to flight safety, this role demanded excellence at all times, a trait that has become embedded. Key Achievement Perceptive attention to detail prevented a possible fire on board an aircraft, subsequently given a Flight Safety award. Shift worker and subject matter expert while away from main operating base.Routinely deployed at short notice to various locations around the globe to support the air operations of that time. These included locations as diverse as the Middle East and the Caribbean.

Provision of classic aircraft to television and motion picture industry. Also provided facilities for sound studios. Away from the film industry, the company provided storage for private and corporate aircraft. This job required me to be part of a small team of aircraft mechanic's, handlers and movers.
