Managing a team of account managers whose focus is the Service Delivery of the National Steel Linehaul Network delivering a range of steel products for One Steel and Blue Scope. The role is customer facing and involves liaison with the Operations teams advocating for the customer to ensure the contractual obligations and their expectations are met and continuous improvement opportunities are identified.

The Intermodal Manager leads and develops a team of direct reports appropriate to ensure focus is achieved on safe work practices and delivering performance to plan. Key to the role is ensuring alignment with organisational values of Safety, Customer Service, People & Teamwork, and Performance are incorporated in all aspects of our operations. The Intermodal Manager must foster and develop a customer centric and performance culture within their team and demonstrate and model leadership, with commercial awareness and responsiveness to customer requirements. The role is accountable for customer service delivery within the three locations in Melbourne, Dimboola and Junee in Southern New South Wales. The service must deliver improved safety performance for customers and employees, and must be delivered within agreed cost budgets.
