Rob joined WBD Studios in February 1989, when it was still Turner Broadcasting System. While there, he has served as graphic designer, print production manager, project manager, team leader, set designer, carpenter, painter, draftsman, electrician, rigger, stagehand, welder, plumber, purchasing and inventory lead, seamstress, Shop Supervisor and Graphics Supervisor. He is adept with a vast array of materials, tools and techniques, and a wide range of computer graphics software such as Adobe and AutoCad, as well as hardware including Canon, Oce, Roland and HP large format printers and MultiCam CNC routers.In March, 2004, Rob spearheaded the development of a new Scenic Graphics department at WBD Studios and became its Supervisor. In this role, Rob manages the design and production of posters, banners, lightboxes and backlit transparencies, murals, 2-D and 3-D signage, mic flags, decals, promotional and marketing materials, and other graphic needs for all Scenic Services clients in studio, remote and corporate locations. This includes file design and setup, Art Department coordination, and production management. The Scenic Graphics department has made a specialty of short-run, quick turnaround items of broadcast quality, along with an uncompromising dedication to client satisfaction.At WBD Studios Scenic Services, Rob has had a hand in literally thousands of unique projects for TNT Sports, Cartoon Network, Adult Swim, TNT, TBS, Turner Classic Movies, Food Network, Turner South, TruTV, Court TV, NBATV, Turner Studios, Discovery, Warner Brothers, AT&T, DirecTV, the CNN Store and CNN Studio Tour, many of the CNN networks and bureaus, the Atlanta Braves, Hawks and Thrashers, and World Championship Wrestling. Projects span the range from single props to entire studio sets and stages.With a BFA in Theater Design from Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas, Rob has previously served as Technical Director for the Academy Theater in Atlanta and the Highlands Playhouse in Highlands, NC. Rob's theatre and live television experience has honed his skills as a leader and problem solver.
