I have worked in Engineering since leaving school. I joined the Royal Air Force in 1989 and spent 10 years working on first and second lines on Tornado GR1 aircraft on a Tri-national flight training base in Lincolnshire.I left after 10 years to pursue a career in civilian industry firstly as a service engineer then working as a maintenance engineer gaining experience, my last few roles have been spent on shift overseeing teams of multi skilled engineers sometimes across multiple sites and reaching senior shift engineer with Becton Dickinson. Recently I have made the switch to a `days only` role to spend more quality time with my family. I am currently working for Plessey Semiconductors Ltd, I am open to technical roles on days within the Plymouth area, with a business which will value my experience, my highly logical approach to root cause analysis and fault finding, continuous improvement and my strong leadership to bolster their engineering team.
