The role of my team is to deliver the commitments set out in the National Highways Strategic Plan and the considerations in the Department for Transports licence for National Highways that state the need to consider effective integration between the Strategic Road Network and the rest of the transport system and to consider opportunities for collaborative solutions that can increase integration benefits. I am responsible for several projects focused on Active Travel and Bus and Coach including; • Critical Success Factors for Remoding Customer Journeys • Schools Access pilot working with Living Streets to enable a better experience for pupils walking and wheeling to school in close proximity to the Strategic Road Network in Yorkshire and the North East • Developing an Active Travel Strategy in line with current National Highways and Government policy • Understanding the use of the strategic road network by walkers, cyclists and horse-riders • Providing technical assurance on the £169 million designated funds walking, cycling and horse-riding programme

I am responsible for several live projects focused on integration and in particular Walking, Cycling and Horse-Riding including; • Public Rights of Way Severance and the Highways England Network • Schools in close proximity to the Highways England Network • Understanding our Customers Insights of their experience on the Highways England Network • Creation of a Walking, Cycling and Horse-Riding Continual Professional Development Module • Update of Tools and Guidance for Walking Cycling and Horse-Riding Capital Investment Framework I have delivered and closed down the following projects to date: • Walking, Cycling and Horse-Riding Capital Investment Framework (Tools and Guidance) • Walking, Cycling and Horse-Riding Safety Analysis Tool I am responsible for Highways England Stakeholder Group the WCH Forum and work closely with the responsible owner of the internal Integration Technical Working Group.

The Strategic Safety Team is focused on the Highways England Key Performance Indicator 1 and the reduction of Killed or Seriously Injured (KSI) casualties on the Strategic Road Network (SRN). All of the programmes I worked on in the team were done with the target of reducing the number of KSIs on the SRN in line with the 40% reduction as set out in the Highways England Delivery Plan. I was responsible for the following projects all focused on meeting KPI 1 including: • Driving for Better Business - Highways Englands approach to professional drivers • New Driver Programme - Introduction of Learner Drivers on Motorways • 3D Tread Reader Tyre Scanners - Tyre Safety Campaign with National Firefighters Association • Babybox - Vehicle Safety Campaign for soon to be and new parentsOther responsibilities included Monthly Corporate Reporting, Fatality Reporting, Updating to the National Incident and Casualty Reduction Plan, Compliance Portfolio and Stats 19 Data Analysis.

Project managed and delivered the update and implementation of the university web portal room booking and timetabling software. I managed the university timetabling and room booking team whilst developing and delivering 2 year-long project plans (Academic Timetable and Welcome Timetable) to provide a high quality service for the institute.I designed and produced analytical reports to find trends and obscurities, and benchmarks to enable me to develop more effective future timetabling project plans.Used existing data to create scenario models to test and influence possible change for future timetabling strategy and projects.Manage the development of the administrative systems of the department to deliver a customer focused service.

Sourced and managed the implementation of new timetabling and diary management software (CELCAT).Key point of contact for all musicians and students on any scheduling related issues. Worked successfully to tight deadlines for the production, maintenance and publication of all timetables and schedules.Responsible for arranging immediate absence cover and negotiate the deputising/ rescheduling of tutors and session musicians in a high pressure environment.Provided administrative support across all departments of the college on a daily basis and in a timely manner.Provided ICT support for Microsoft Office programs in addition to time-tabling and room booking system.

Responsible for production, maintenance and publication of both BSc and Pre Registration timetables.Maintenance and purchasing of equipment and all replenish-able goods using PO’s and invoicing.Everyday support for Course Leaders and students.Administration of course examinations.
