About Rob D.
With my background being a mix of the Creative Arts and Continuous Improvement, I feel that I bring a unique skillset to any business. During my time managing improvement projects, I have been successful in implementing process improvements that not only cross horizontal departments, but also the organisational hierarchy. I have created cooperation and collaboration between veteran sheet metal workers, junior engineers, production managers and company directors. The key to my success is my ability to create an open environment where every member has a sense of their value and is safe to bring their unique skills and points of view to the team. An environment where the shared goal is clear and consensus drives progress to achieve the goal in a timely manner. The genesis of my passion and skill for guiding diverse teams to succeed emerged while I was at Bangor University. While at University, I became a producer and director with the University’s oldest drama society, Rostra, where I was elected to its committee and awarded lifetime membership. Although I enjoy directing, I discovered my passion and skills lie with producing and I still return each year with my fellow alumni members to coach new students in the skill and art of developing and producing a Shakespeare production within a 48-hour time limit. I am proficient in various business and creative applications including Microsoft Office, G-Suite, Adobe Creative Products and Minitab.
