My main project was the Material Management Project. The Project's scope encompassed the entire business, so management of time and resources was key. I liaised with various departments across the business in order to reach my target of increasing material efficiency across all stages of production.I have also completed my Green Belt certification in Six Sigma. The project was concerning stock management in a key area of the company, providing real and sustainable improvement that can be felt through out the business.

After receiving a promotion, becoming the new Cost Analyst, it is now my responsibility to maintain crucial data concerning the company’s manufacturing processes. With over 1000 parts, the role is demanding and intense at times, though I have dealt with the pressure numerous times, and operated well under it. I strive to keep on top of all data, collecting new sets whenever I can. The role requires a detailed knowledge of excel and SAGE, the latter of which I learnt whilst performing the role.

This role required me to keep a constant state of focus, being responsible for the quality of the products that the customer receives. This means I have to examine every part that is created and be ruthless in its inspection.

During my time there, I was quickly moved to a more demanding and challenging role, helping manage a factory with the Transline Co-Ordinator at the warehouse.

In this role at the Co-op, I carried out various tasks throughout the day. Being involved in both stocking the shop and operating the tills has enabled me to interact with varying people and perform under pressure when the shop hits its busiest hours. Working in a cohesive manner with customer and colleagues alike is vital, something which I achieve every day. I recently became shortlisted to become a Team Leader.
