After 34 years at BAM it is now time to move on to a new challenge. I had a great time and could play a part in different roles and entities within BAM. I thank BAM for the opportunities they have given me.

Deputy finance director. Management accountant for BAM International andArea controller for the Middle East and the Americas. Focus on consolidation (80+ companies) and reporting for the entity and giving guidance to all financials on timely reporting and instruct them on any IFRS changes in order to timely and accurate report financial outcome. Setting up entities abroad including tax etc for new projects. Actively controlling the projects abroad including cash forecasts and project forecasts. Also responsible for tax consolidation for Dutch fiscal unity and translation commercial to fiscal results. Sparring partner to the CFO. Contact to central tax team and external auditors.

In this period I was the finance manager for the 3 pension funds. Besides reporting the different boards also responsible for the annual accounts and contacts with the auditors and actuarial agencies as well as DNB. Also in contact with insurers on insured contracts.

In this period I was the controller of HBM in Rotterdam responsible for the all financial matters including project control and part of MT (21/2 years). Moved to group controlling of Bouw en Vastgoed where I was appointed project leader fit non-fit phase of our SAP ERP system. This included redesign of processes that would fit the different construction and property developers (approx 1 1/2 years. After this I was in the taskgroup to set up the financial services center for HBG and after setup I was the financial controller of the Shared Service Center, member of MT an also added financial specialist to our Facility services.

After the external audit work I joined HBG as I due course I wanted to move to a internal controlling position within the company. Have audited many companies and projects in Europe and world wide.The projects world wide was to assess if forecasted project results are in line with project team views but also auditing the project internal controls. Besides my work I managed to graduate as CPA.

Here I started my career and the start of my education after HEAO Ecomics to become a CPA.
