Managed a team that trains Special Operators to gain an in depth knowledge and skill set of human behavior pattern recognition and analysis that will enable them to quickly make sense of any operating environment regardless of culture, and operate in a proactive and preemptive manner, “left of bang”…. As a senior instructor we have to make the practical applications not only meet the human behavior skills to the operator, but also tailor to meet the unit’s operating environment and specific mission sets such as High Risk Meets, Urban/Rural settings, surveillance operations, key leader engagements ,and various other real world threats. Situational awareness is using your human behavior skills taught to sense make highly complex environments. Teaching critical skills to our students to allow them to be predictive and proactive in any environment they face. Areas of expertise taught at our course: o Establish a baseline in their area of operationo Identify anomalies or indicators that arise in the baseline. o Observing biological & physiological indicators from a distance understanding legal ramifications on decisions made. o Being proactive versus reactive. o Controlling the pace of the battle field, meeting, or environment.
