I've always been a self-starter, but this was my first taste of maintaining a successful business for my freelance audio engineering and music production work. Some of the biggest credits to my name are on music by Adam Lambert, Fred Armisen, Danger Mouse, Karen O and more, but nothing ever beats helping a new artist or young band bring their creative vision to life.

The paint on the walls was literally still drying when I conducted the first of what would eventually be over 150 recording sessions during my tenure here. This facility that had once played host to the likes of early Devo and Dr. Demento had been lying dormant since the 1980's when I was given the opportunity to participate in its restoration. I relished being able to put to use and expand my extensive knowledge of both vintage and modern analog and digital recording equipment, as well collaborate and contribute to tons of great records.

Kingsize Soundlabs has a 20+ year history serving independent and major label artists in the Los Angeles area. This is where I got my true start in the music industry as an intern and worked my way up through the ranks, wearing multiple hats such as assistant engineer, session manager, and house engineer. My day-to-day often involved being both a technical liaison and host, with the aim of creating a seamless workflow and comfortable creative environment for artists and producers.
