Identifying suspects and conducting PACE compliant interviews, as well as progressing investigations in tight custody time periods.Setting and prioritising actions across a full caseload, ensuring thorough investigation of all lines of enquiry and that deadlines are met.Compiling detailed crime reports and case files, documenting actions taken, risk assessments and rationale for decisions taken.Obtaining best evidence statements from victims and witnesses, and identifying safeguarding concerns, taking action and providing appropriate measures. Liaising with third parties such as social services, local authorities and housing associations.Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including the Crown Prosecution Service, to ensure cases are prosecuted in a fair and expeditious manner.
