Innovation and evolution are what makes the world go around. As a born entrepreneur and creative at heart, innovation is at the core of all my ventures. If it’s quirky, different, and slightly risky, I’m there to find the way to make it possible (and profitable)! I’m passionate about ideas and putting those concepts into action- and then following them through by being dedicated to seeing that idea flourish from the page and into a physical business. With a diverse background of experience, I bring together the knowledge and wisdom learnt through past roles in the corporate sector, together with my businesses acumen in the present, to create truly outstanding enterprises, including The Chophouse Braintree & TOAST, that touch and enrich the lives of its customers. The Braintree Chophouse is a distinctive independent restaurant serving award-winning food, with an emphasis on using fresh and local ingredients for all our dishes. Our menu constantly changes with the seasons, inspiring our passionate chefs to create meals to remember that both excite and delight our diners. From Beef Short Rib & Truffle Arancini to our Chateaubriand of Essex grass-fed beef, our menu showcases the best homegrown produce that East Anglia has to offer. Supporting local and working with other independent businesses echoes through my other venture, TOAST, a trail-blazing chain of British coffee houses that is flying the flag for UK enterprise. As co-founder, TOAST was created out of the void for good coffee at an honest price and to also break the cookie-cutter mould of what a high-street coffee chain is. Put simply, TOAST is changing the world one sip of coffee and crunch of toast at a time. With branches at Braintree, Chelmsford, Sudbury and Walthamstow, each independent coffee house welcomes visitors with a warm smile, and serves them award-winning coffee, legendary toasties, & indulgent shakes freshly made to order. We’re proud supporters of local, supporting local initiatives and projects to help those in need. We also understand that coffee and the power of TOAST can make positive change, which is why we’re committed to doing our bit for the environment. None of our waste goes to landfill and we use only 100% recyclable coffee cups, in addition to offering fully sustainable options too.Being an entrepreneur can be lonely job. Drop me a message, send me a connection, and get in touch with a like-minded individual to share ideas and spur innovation, as who knows where it could lead us both.
