Responsible for the development and implementation of an R&E Digital Transformation in the collection of data and the use of modern analytic capabilities including generative AI as well as virtual capabilities such as modeling, simulation and the application of CGI. Led team in a 3X increase in projects and financial impact through communication, influence and delivery against key objectives. Led Development of a digital transformation strategy for the R&E function and worked across organizations to secure funding and begin implementation. Manage Kimberly-Clark's corporate Analytical Sciences team. The Analytical Sciences team solves complex technical issues for Kimberly-Clark teams in all brands, globally and from life cycle maximization to exploration by leveraging advanced analytical chemistry and other techniques.

Lead the identification and development of differentiated technologies and products for the elder wellness space focusing on new product and growth opportunities. Developing new insights and leading early stage product and technology development efforts. Utilizing tools such as user experience/journey mapping, segmentation and observational methods to identify need spaces.Developed new business, product and technology opportunity for the acute care wound space valued at $100 million incremental to current business and with a 60+% margin expected. Project transitioned to business team for launch targeted in 2016.LEAN Blue Belt Certification.

Lead the identification and development of new technologies for application to Kimberly-Clark businesses globally. Scope of position includes development of technical strategies in new spaces, cognitive science, materials science and biological sciences.

Led the expansion of the organization and establishing new teams responsible for product development functions. Responsible for the design of the new facility and innovative features such as an open working concept. Built on existing systems and established new systems to allow for integration of the new capability into the global organization. Oversaw the hiring and development of a team of mostly entry level hires, with exceptional results. Team quickly moved to steady state operation and is delivering results.

As Managing Director of the KC Innovation Center Asia, led a newly hired team of about 40 scientists with little industry experience to normal operation and integration within KC within 3 years. This has led to the effective support of three new product launches at KC and a pipeline of new products and technologies along with the filing of more than 10 global patents. Successfully integrated the new center into the global Kimberly-Clark organization by implementing successful organizational philosophies.As Director of Discovery Research, worked with team to restructure and implement design thinking, therefore making teh organization a more consumer and market focused, nimble organization which focuses on the identification and framing of key strategic consumer and technical issues which are then addressed through internal and external collaboration. During this time the team developed color change dye chemistry and micro-encapsulated fragrances now commercialized in Kimberly-Clark Huggies and Kleenex products in Asia.

Leadership of a team of 100+ scientists and engineers with a budget of $25MM+. Lead team through several organizational changes while still delivering several novel new technologies used in Kimberly-Clark products today. Examples include:* The development and implementation of a new adhesive technology providing significant improvements in performance and cost which is now used global for the Huggies diaper franchise.* Partnering with superabsorbent suppliers to develop and implement step-out improvements in absorbent properties, now used globally for all KC Infant and Child Care products.* Managing through global, industry wide shortages of superabsorbent and adhesive with no significant down time or poor customer service.* Development of a new tissue binding technology now used across more than $1 billion annual sales of Kleenex facial tissue. Launched as "biggest improvement in tissue in the last 20 years".
