§ An experienced Operations Manager with a lead role in SHE issues, accustomed to managing equipment and workforce in a safety critical environment.§ A methodical, diligent and determined individual who interacts effectively to get the best out of any team.§ Five years in a health and safety lead role in a safety critical industry.§ Over thirty years practical experience in the minerals extraction and processing industry, over twenty of which have been in a supervisory or managerial role.§ Preparation, implementation and management of health and safety policies and procedures, covering issues from office environment to heavy plant and explosives.§ Good understanding and experience of health, safety, environmental and quality management systems, BSI / ISO.§ Effective communicator.
