Hi, thanks for stopping by to check out my LinkedIn profile – I appreciate your time and interest.Me:I’m Rob - a qualified pharmacist turned supply chain professional, and ex- Australian Defence Force officer, with a passion for understanding the structure of complex, multi-nodal systems; I particularly enjoy the various machinations of the Australian health system, specifically elements involving pharmaceuticals. I take pride in being a professional manager but also in being a good human, and I place a high value on people who are capable, self-aware, and most importantly, genuine.Personal:My greatest goal in life is to make other people happy and find my own happiness along the way. Having expended a great deal of energy, deconstructing and reconstructing myself, I definitely feel that I am there, although am under no false illusion that it will remain without ongoing effort, personal investment and a healthy amount of self-sacrifice.Professional:You may be aware of health topics including Australian medicine shortages, evolving therapy regimens, strategic agreements and changing public health policy. Each of these pose complex problems to solve, operating with uncertainty, and often incomplete information, in the pursuit of improving the health of all Australians. Being part of the solution to these challenges is why I exist, and what I love doing. If the solution happens to involve some heavy mathematics and policy analysis, all the more satisfying. I take great delight in producing excellent quality work and achieving business success, but equally in contributing to an environment which builds the team and makes the workplace enjoyable for everyone. At times, all work can be tough, however I believe that those who care deeply, unify and lead the team to achieve the best results – That is who I am and that is the team I want to develop and lead.Working for Symbion, I am afforded with the ideal platform to contribute to bettering Australia’s health. I’m thankful that I was recruited by such a great company, with a similar purpose of connecting communities to care.Contact:I’m not big on using social media; I subscribe to the notion that it is overall harmful to individual wellbeing. However, I am very open to connecting with you face-to-face or virtually, to indulge in the forgotten art of conversation – I hope we get the opportunity to chat – happy to connect with you on here, after a real connection. Thanks again
