Melvin West, I incorporated and obtained IRS 501(c)(3) tax exemption and state equivalent for PET International, Inc., now known and doing business as Mobility Worldwide, an international not-for-profit umbrella organization that makes and distributes hand-cranked wheel carts for the mobility impaired around the world; MW is the parent organization for over two dozen shops around the world that make the carts, which MW then distributes with the assistance of distribution partners like Mercy Ships, Partners for Care, Orphan Grain Train, Kenya Relief, Doctors without Borders, the U.S. Navy (Operation Handclasp), etc. What started in Mel's garage, producing one at a time, has expanded into a network that has now distributed over 100,000 such hand-cranked wheelcarts around the world....
