In 2003, I combined my 20 years experience in Care Work with my expertise in music and NOMAD MUSIC was the result. Since that time I have been providing Music Workshops to people with disabilities, in a variety of care settings around Berkshire and the Home Counties.I work mainly with people with a learning disability in groups and on a 1-to-1 basis. I have worked extensively with challenging behaviour and Autism and I relish the opportunity to bring joy and be a positive influence in my local community.I am often described as a human Juke Box, as I have a repertoire of over 1000 acoustic cover versions of popular songs. I also regularly provide Story-Telling sessions and drama workshops and away from care I have experience with studio recording, sound engineering, song writing and regularly perform original material with a band that has been together since 1998.I personally attend to every aspect of running NOMAD MUSIC, including bookkeeping and accountancy, marketing, project management, sales, progress reporting and recently, COVID-19 policy management and risk assessments... Oh and the performance.The joy I get from doing the thing I love, for a living, is apparent in every one of my performances.
