Responsible for working together in Manchester City Centre with the goal of protecting the safety and well-being of Manchester residents, visitors and our business community.Role Requirements:Case management with a wide variety of presenting issues to address.Identify and assess vulnerability of clients.Make appropriate referrals for specialist support and intervention.Take formal and informal enforcement action to prevent and stop Anti-Social behaviour.Promote the work undertaken by the team through internal and external communications.Work as part of a ‘duty officer’ rota dealing with referrals for urgent legal action.Completion of Reports and/or Documents for Legal Enforcement at CourtCourt attendance.Regular liaisons with Solicitors.I work closely with a wide range of partners and services within the Community Safety Network, such as Greater Manchester Police, Social Housing Providers, Manchester City Council Homelessness Service, Manchester City Council Licensing and Out Of Hours, Probation, Youth Justice, Change Grow Live Substance Misuse Service, Remedy, mediation services and Greater Manchester Fire Service

We are a bespoke service, delivering interventions and support in order to make sustainable, positive changes in the lives of individuals.We aim to:-Reduce the number of individuals involved in offending-Reduce the number of individuals carrying weapons (knives, guns etc).-Give individuals as pathway away from gangs and offending lifestyles.-Reduce the number of NEET / Unemployed.-Reduce the demand on the Police and NHS, .-Reduce to demand on the NHS and Mental Health Services.What we do:-Deliver bespoke and interactive offending behaviour interventions. -Deliver qualifications, up to National Framework Level 4 in any subject area an individual wants to achieve in. .-Actively seek out and support individuals gaining employment and/or apprenticeship opportunities through our many links (which are ever expanding) with businesses and organisations.-Offer internal opportunities to individuals. -Support individuals to access housing and benefits. We will make sure their basic needs are met.-We operate a 'no wrong door policy'. We won't give up on any individual who would benefit from the interventions and support we can implement.-An unlimited period to work with individuals. Our support and interventions will always been available to them.-A Mental Health telephone support line. This is available to any individual within the UK.Who we work with:-Involved in gangs-Involved in CCE or at risk of CCE-Involved in CSE or at risk of CSE.-Involved with Youth Justice or at risk of becoming involved in Criminal Justice System.-Involved with Probation -Currently serving a Custodial Sentence.-Involved with Knife Crime and/or Weapons or at risk of becoming involved-Individuals who have attended A and E due to Knife and/or Weapon related injuries.-Involved with Mental Health Support Services -NEET / Unemployed.-Young people not accessing the full curriculum- mainstream education or alternative provision.-Young people in the Care System-Care leavers.

Youth Justice Case ManagerCase management of young people on the periphery of involvement with the Criminal Justice System, Out Of Court disposals or sentenced at Court and given a Community or Custodial Sentence. Experienced and extremely compotent in completing Pre-Court Assessments.Completed and regularly reviewed Asset Plus Assessments and Intervention Plans, formulating SMART intervention plans that are strength based and child focused.Carried out Breach Action where required, completing accurate Breach Reports.Delivered individual and group interventions to promote desistence from further offending- addressing Knife Crime, Gang Involvement, Anger Management, Emotional Regulation, Victim Empathy, Restorative Justice and Community Reparation.Delivered individual and group sessions to promote empowerment in young people, harness their energy and talents into positive activities, develop their skills for future success and improve emotional well-being.Supported young people to access Education, Training or Employment.Supported parents to manage their child(ren)’s behaviour at home, safeguard their child(ren) and promote desistence from further offending.Completed Safeguarding referrals as and when required.Completed referrals to partner agencies to support young people and their families in addressing presenting issues.Worked collaboratively as part of a multi-agency team.Attended and positively contributed to statutory multi-agency meetings, complying written report where required.Representative for GM Youth Justice Cluster every Monday within Youth Court- liaising with Solicitors, CPS and District Judges/Magistrates to make sure fair,appropriate outcomes are achieved for young people in Court and in respect of the offence committed, as well as presenting written reports in the Court arena and swearing in Warrants.Completed AIM3 assessments and AIM under 12 assessments.Training: AIM3, AIM u12s, Restoration Justice Facilitator, Emergency 1stAid.
