•SCCM Architect providing technical assistance in the operation of System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) enterprise-wide. There are approximately 400,000 machines and approximately 300 primary sites managed by SCCM in the VA, making it one of, if not the biggest, single-hierarchy system in the world.•Migrated System Center Operation Manager (SCOM) 2010 from System Center Operation Manager (SCOM) 2007•Documented site architecture and settings for business continuance and Risk Management.•Assessed existing Microsoft SMS 2003 infrastructure to remedy on-going issues related to client deployment and inventory reporting.•Conducted training sessions with key personnel to provide knowledge transfer on core systems technical concepts.•Assist with Windows 7 deployment, OSD task sequence modifications, and deployment management status reports.•Monitor Microsoft Windows Server Update Services (WSUS) to address server and desktop patch management issues of the enterprise.
