Former American Hockey League championship winning goaltender. Current Goaltending and Head Coach with top to bottom development experience of players and goalies. I have used my playing and coaching experience to build goaltending programs for schools, junior a teams and minor hockey programs. As a Head coach, I have built teams that have won championships and had year over year improvement in both results and players personal development on and off the ice. I take a holistic approach to player development, using mental game, nutrition and strength and conditioning concepts to get the most out of each individual.15 years of coaching and Hockey Development experience. 20 years of elite playing experience, including four years of Major Junior A and 5 years of Professional hockey in the AHL, ECHL and UHL. Playing Career Highlights: Drafted 3rd round to the OHL’s Sarnia Sting 1999.OJHL Jr. A East Division Rookie of the Year 1999-2000 season.Member of 2000 Team Ontario at Under 17 World Hockey Challenge. Won silver medal. Played 4 years in the Ontario Hockey League as the starting goaltender for the Sarnia Sting and Owen Sound Attack. 2000-2004Drafted in 5th round 145 overall in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft by the Washington Capitals. First goaltender drafted from the OHL. Named starting goalie for the OHL Western Conference All Star team in 2002. Had first shutout in OHL All Star Game history, named Co-MVP of the game with Marc Andre Fleury from the QMJHL.Third Goalie for Washington Capitals in 2003 Playoffs.First team All Rookie and Second Team All Star UHL 2004-2005 season.Played for AHL Hartford Wolf Pack 2005-2006 SeasonPlayed for Chicago Wolves 2007-2009.Calder Cup Champion 2007-2008 AHL Season.Attended 4 NHL Training Camps.Won Traverse City NHL Rookie Tournament with Washington Capitals.
