Next to my study, I was working at Hotel/Restaurant ‘Gasthof Euverem’. My duties were mainly: preparing lunch, mise en place, entrees and desserts. This job has taught me a lot about teamwork, performing under pressure, planning and expanding my cooking skills. Next to that, it was also a lot of fun.

In the final year of my study, I performed my graduate internship at Langen Logistics B.V. in Born. Langen BV is a family business specialized in intermodal transport, storage and repackaging. This study was characterized by a thesis and presentation for the exam commission. The outcome of the assignment was an advisory about cost analysis using Activity Based Costing, by means of the mapping of client operations. In addition, recommendations and improvements were put forward.Both the report and the presentation/defense were successfully completed.

In the third year of my study, I performed my internship at Mercedes-Benz CAC in Maastricht. Mercedes-Benz CAC is the primary contact point for established and potential customers in Europe. During this study, I have created an advisory about the internal ‘Cognos’ user Software and environment. Several recommendations were made in order to archive a better Cognos environment for the user.Both the report as the internship in general were successfully completed.

Internship completed at the ‘wall tile factory’ Royal Mosa BV in Maastricht. During this assignment I Investigated the internal logistics (Automated Guided Vehicle’s).I have identified issues/problems and have formulated recommendations for possible improvement. Next to this assignment I made two instruction manuals about internal logistics.Both the report as the internship in general were successfully completed.
