I was approached by Australia Zoo to have a look at their inhouse Magazine at the time Called Australia Zoo Magazine. I helped rebrand to 'CRIKEY MAG' and open up the magazine for National distribution and advertising. While at 'The Weekender', I was approached by the head publisher about an opportunity to get off the ground an arts magazine called WARM. This project had been tried and failed four times before being put on my plate. I successfully put into production and distributed four issues of the magazine, which were profitable, before the murdoch group aquired Sunshine Coast publications and swallowed up most of the magazines and concentrated on the flagship WEEKENDER magazine. I was approached from the dealer network within AAPT to help out a struggling reseller which was about to close its doors called MORETALK Communications. Unfortunately for the owner, they had a manager in place that was doing more business through the backdoor than the front and were only taking 10 Churns a week ( conversion of lines from Telstra and other telco's to AAPT).
