I have a keen eye for detail, a passion for helping customers and a talent for developing, coaching and creating an effective team.As well as the daily running of a store, overcoming various day-to-day issues that may arise, managing people and supporting the Store Manager in their role, my experience also includes: new store openings, interviewing, training new staff, implementing new initiatives, budgeting, rota planning, police liaison, auditing and disciplining.I am very much a people manager. I believe in looking after my staff, giving them full training, communicating with them, unlocking and helping them realise their potential - after all, you're only as good a manager as the team you have behind you. That's why my standards of training are very high. I am also very straight talking and candid - I issue praise when due and coaching likewise.I am now looking to expand my knowledge and skill set, whether in retail or another institution. I am enthusiastic and hungry for a new challenge. Ready and willing to learn, I have much to give and feel I require more room to be able to grow my character and further develop my career.Away from work I enjoy spending time with family and friends, airsoft, gaming and cinema.
