Maintenance Engineer
CurrentOversee all aspects of the physical infrastructure.Ensure that all work performed is done to high quality and without impact to internal/external customers.Subordinate supervisory responsibilities.Perform preventive maintenance and repair service work on HVAC, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and various other building systems to maintain the properties in peak operational condition.Inspects building systems, including fire alarms, HVAC, and plumbing, to ensure equipment operation is within design capabilities and achieves environmental conditions prescribed by the client.Coordinates and inspects the work performed by outside contractors.Hands-on work includes landscaping, snow removal, remodeling, HVAC, plumbers, and cleaning.Performs assigned repairs and emergency and preventive maintenance—complete maintenance and repair records.Reviews assigned work orders. Estimates time and materials needed to complete repair—orders materials and supplies to finish the tasks.Maintains an energy management program to ensure measures are taken to operate all systems most efficiently to keep operating costs at a minimum & maintains the building lighting system, including element and ballast repairs or replacements.Oversee the development and accuracy of site-level operating procedures and other documentation.Supervise and escalate as needed to after-hours emergency responders at assigned facilities.Effectively and efficiently manage the operations budget and expenditures of assigned contracts.Manage the complete physical assets pertaining to the Operation and Maintenance of the critical and non-critical infrastructure equipment and systems.Resolve all electrical, mechanical and Fire Protection System issues in the facilities while minimizing risk and business impact and communicate issues to management and customers in a timely manner.
