  • Manage and coordinate multi-departmental reviews of major subdivisions and site plans as well as all minor subdivisions and site plans, concept plans and administrative applications.• Prepare and present reports with official recommendations to the County Commissioners and Planning Commission. • Prepare and present case material for Board of Appeals hearings.• Manage all telecommunications applications under the County zoning code.• Watershed Implementation Plan (WIP) Coordinator – serve as the principal point of contact for Queen Anne’s County with regard to the WIP; coordinate WIP Team which includes representation from various state agencies, county departments and local non-profit environmental organizations; provide technical support for the watershed restoration program, create strategic milestones to assist the County in attaining the target loading goals set forth by the Chesapeake Bay TMDL.• Develop potential watershed restoration projects and coordinate with other county departments or local environmental non-profit organizations to determine their feasibility. • Provide hands on support for the implementation of watershed restoration projects such as planting riparian buffers and living shorelines or the creation of informational flyers or videos for education and outreach initiatives.• Utilize Geographical Information System to create maps, displays and exhibits; perform geo-processing analysis; use basic queries to extract data; and provide analysis support. Projects include a historic sites survey, re-zoning applications, and commercial property inventory.• Perform detailed background research of maps, legal documents, plats, and other applicable planning data in order to prepare zoning map amendments and zoning text amendments.
