During project execution, issue all purchase orders to vendors for raw material required for the project. Oversee internal engineering to develop shop fabrication drawings and ensure design meets the specification. Work directly with both internal and customer QAQC to develop the Inspection Test Plan (ITP). During fabrication, maintain schedule and communicate with shop foremen to confirm that all material required is accounted for and present to execute per the design. Coordinate all inspections and testing per the ITP to meet the customers specification.

Perform inspections and/or condition assessments to maintain reliability, performance and efficiency of sub-critical boilers, waste-to-energy boilers and heat recovery steam generators (HRSG’s). Also perform visual inspection and condition assessments on boiler burners, coal mills and selective catalytic reducers (SCR’s). Conduct condition assessments of high-energy piping networks and their associated components including hangers, welds and other structural components to ensure system reliability. Responsible for the management of on-site condition assessment projects, which includes but is not limited to execution and managing the scope of work of non-destructive examination technicians and various union and non-union labors. This includes addressing all issues found, as well as making necessary recommendations for repair and/or improvement. Responsible for project success from inception to customer acceptance. Prior to leaving site, close-out notes are prepared which detail all immediate repairs and findings and a close-out meeting with the site contact and various senior plant personnel is conducted. Proposal lead for performing condition assessment programs on utility and industrial boilers and their critical components. This also includes detailed technical reporting and assisting in the development of recommendation/repair specifications. Prepare itemized cost estimates for domestic and international firm-fixed price, budgetary, and per diem contracts. Review vendor proposals and select the subcontractors to complete work. As lead site engineer, facilitate scheduling and logistics of project work. Coordinate job site workforce with client to complete the scope of work. Manage project costs to ensure that projects are completed within budget. Responsible for business development with customers to discuss company capabilities and how to best address the customer’s needs.
