Summary of tools functionality:- Calculates optimal position and space requirements for all SKU’s based on internal warehouse configuration using warehouse slotting techniques.- Calculates replenishment and picking cost for all SKU’s in its current warehouse position vs its ideal Warehouse position. - Calculates a manpower plan for the current and ideal scenarios, highlighting how the warehouse is performing.- Suggests most beneficial SKU warehouse moves in order to reduce costs and improve performance.Key achievements• Increased efficiency in warehouses attributed to this tool equated to a 5 FTE saving across the UK. • Product Swapping – Identified SKU’s where warehouse locations could to be swapped reducing the time required to make warehouse moves by 50% Show less
