Taking on an new position within Hunter Local Land Service the role is designed to coordinate and manage the Emergency Management function and services within the Hunter region including the ongoing development of planning, prevention, response and recovery activities to manage emergencies impacting landholders and primary producers (natural disaster or emergency or animal disease outbreak). I will be managing planning and staff training activities to meet regional needs, coordinate and implement the development of Emergency Management plans, processes and documents within legislated frameworks as well as support and lead staff in the development, delivery, monitoring and evaluation of Emergency Management functions and services.Completed training as Incident Controller with a combination of on-line and face to face training delivered by DPI, Officer of Emergency Management and Rural Fire Service.
