Job Summary:Work a rotating shift team leadership position that is responsible and accountable to provide effective supervision to my assigned unionized Shift Team Technicians and management of assigned operating assets. The areas included are a Cat Cracker, HF Alkylation, Sulphur, Amine, Treater and Isomerization units. These supervisory responsibilities.

• Monitor and control crude oil/NGL pipelines and terminal using SCADA system.
• Solid understanding of pipeline hydraulics.
• Respond to emergency conditions and alarms to protect personnel, equipment and environment.
• Ensure company procedures and policies are being followed.
• Generate work requests using MAXIMO reporting.
• Coordinate operations with field personnel.

• Process Technician Specialist, Imperial Oil, Strathcona Refinery
• Certified control board operator utilizing Honeywell DCS, Experion, PLC and Dynamic Matrix Control (DMC) (approximately 5 years)
• Qualified in Fluid Catalytic Cracking (FCC) unit, Cat Light Ends unit, Alkylation unit, Butamer Isomerization unit, Sulphur plants, Amine and Treater units (control room and outside posts)
• Effective organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
• Safe preparation and recommissioning of equipment for repairs for routine and shutdown maintenance utilizing LOTO system
• Safe work permit writing

Fort Mcmurray, Alberta

• Qualified outside operator in base plant and Millennium plant upgrader’s Amine, Sulphur, Sour water plants, Sulphur Degassing Unit, Sulphur Storage, a Tail Gas Treating Unit and Thermal Oxidizing Unit
• Qualified outside operator in base plant’s Vacuum Distillation unit, Diluent Recovery unit, an Offgas Compression facility and Delayed Coking units
• Member of the Suncor Fire Rescue Team
• Completed The National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 1081 certification training (October 2003 and May 2004)
• Worked numerous shutdowns/start ups
