Savings directly attributable to this projected to reduce the cost of the company’s cloud infrastructure by 75%.Developed an internal Infrastructure Operations practice from the ground up, including a dedicated DevOps role which has improved deployment capability, scalability and service stability.

Senior Product Manager over Dimension Data’s Microsoft Skype for Business and O365 productsImplementation of Microsoft Skype for Business as a core offering of Dimension Data’s Cloud Services for Microsoft platform.Achievements:Global rollout of Microsoft Skype for Business as a hosted service, using Dimension Data’s cloud infrastructure to provide a seamless multi-region UCC suite.Built legal and regulatory framework allowing service operation in 119 countries which included modifications to service architecture and operational processes in order to accommodate local regulations.

This is an operational role with a technical focus at IPscape. I manage the operations team and we support the call-centre operations of over 70 customers across Asia and Australia.We have presence in several datacentres and are currently deploying new infrastructure and a cutting-edge architecture that will enable our platforms to scale far beyond anything previously possible.This role has several challenges - we have to scale to many times our current capacity in a short amount of time, keep the team lean and smart - whilst simultaneously exceeding the service quality and reliability standards achieved to date.This is also been a tremendous opportunity to innovate - we're introducing ITIL, designing the services that are being offered, defining the product offering and how we will address various market segments, and keeping busy with various other ongoing improvement projects.
