I am a creative professional who has been in the learning design and development space in the financial services industry in some form or fashion for over 10 years. I have a proven history of leadership and experience in knowledge management, web development, instructional design and development, photography, digital design, video editing, customer service, training, and peer development. It took me a while to figure out what I wanted to be when I grew up but I finally did. I became a unicorn. A designer and a developer. A little bit of both worlds. I am knowledgeable in the Adobe Creative Suite including Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Lightroom, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, and Bridge. I have experience working in Microsoft SharePoint, Teams, and the Office 365 suite of programs. I have a B.A.S. in Learning Technologies from the University of North Texas. I also earned an A.A.S. in Digital Technology, an A.A. in Creative and Communication Arts, a Digital Media Certificate, and a Marketable Skills Achievement Certificate in Web Design from Northwest Vista College.I have experience in front and back-end web development. As a web application developer, I worked with our business partners to develop dynamic, engaging, usable applications for the end-user. Our team developed specialized applications to aid our front-line associates with customer-facing issues such as loan and equity calculation, online interactive forms, and knowledge management databases for our internal policies and procedural database and website.Currently, I work 100% remote as a Senior Content Writer and am very comfortable working in this type of environment successfully. I work with our business partners, subject matter experts, business stakeholders, and instructional designers and developers to create online content for our internal associates for our policy and procedural database. We service multiple lines of business that range from credit card services to collections and recovery to retail bank operations and support as well as wealth management. This content is used to document internal policies and processes as well as maintain our regulatory and compliance guidelines for the various internal businesses that we support. My interest in design and development has led me to a path in a field that has many opportunities. I am always open to new opportunities and I work to keep myself prepared for future projects and initiatives.
