Rob grew up in the greater Pittsburgh area and is currently completing a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh.Rob is currently finishing the third rotation of his co-op at Metso Minerals Bulk Material Handling where he is working as a Mechanical Proposal Engineer. Working in the Bulk Material Handling industry has given Rob vast experience with machines such as Rail Car Dumpers, Stacker/Reclaimers, Ship Loaders and Continuous Barge Unloaders. The position of Proposal Engineer requires him to work with potential customers to determine the scope of work that Metso will perform and the associated cost.In the future, he looks to use incorporate his engineering skills, knowledge of large machinery and ability to work with customers in a challenging and rewarding full-time position.
