Rob has extensive criminal and administrative law investigative experience, acquired from Queensland State Government, New Zealand Government, and New Zealand Police roles. Prior to commencing with Ashdale, Rob was employed as an Ethical Standards Manager for Queensland Health. Previous Ethical Standards roles include Acting Professional Standards Manager for the former Department of Youth Justice, Principal Investigator for Queensland Health, and Principal Investigator for the Department of Children, Youth Justice and Multicultural Affairs.Rob is an experienced workplace investigator. He is proficient in conducting and managing complex investigations, assessing corrupt conduct and misconduct concerns, and performing desktop reviews or preliminary enquiries. Rob’s background includes extensive fraud investigation experience, and undertaking investigations into workplace bullying, reprisal, sexual harassment, recruitment, conflicts of interest, physical violence, computer hacking, misappropriation of government resources, and breaches of policy/procedures. Prior to migrating to Australia from New Zealand in 2014, Rob’s earlier roles included computer forensics evidence collection and analysis. As a Lead Investigator, he worked in partnership with international regulators, including the United States Federal Trade Commission and the Australian Communications and Media Authority.Rob also has a passion for Disaster Management, working in Senior Operational roles during COVID Response, Tropical Cyclone Debbie, the Townsville floods, and the Christchurch earthquake.
