I've taught and coached groups and individuals privately for 10 years. I've learnt to adapt through listening to what my clients need and want from me. To plan my approach to coach them. Achieving their goals and better themselves. I've worked with children and adults, some vulnerable and some with disabilities. Working in schools, specialists schools, community centres, dance schools and organisations and performance spaces. Building up professional relations with multiple originations. York Breakdance was a big role in my careers development with a clientele of around 200 people being delivered breakdance classes in and around the York area. Collaborating, fundraising and putting on performances for charities such as Snappy Trust (a charity specialising in children and young person’s development ), UK Rock Challenge (an anti-drug and crime prevention event; half time performance), Door 84 (community hub) to name a few. Our efforts and awareness for such charities and organisations built up York Breakdance's reputation as a supportive asset for the local communities and surrounding areas. Supporting a positive outlook through health and wellbeing via a creative art form. As a team member I've involve artists to showcase at a competition held for dancers across the country to compete. I've applied and received York council ward grants to bring different ethnicities and backgrounds to unify through physical healthy art forms. I love to be challenged with the difficulties of unpredictability with in teaching. I have to be adaptable to people’s attitudes, behaviour, motivation and lifestyles. I constantly adapt my approach to address any issues that are a barrier to progression. Keeping a healthy working relationship. I've taught pupils with mental health issues, behavioural problems and disabilities. I understand every individual whilst teaching so we can focus on what is achievable. Limitations are overcome by good communication and understanding put into practice.
