About Rob Jaeger
For more than 28 years, I have served within the Marine Corps community: 11+ years as an active duty Marine (medically retired), and 10 more years serving the Marines, Sailors, and their families of the 2d Marine Division as a Program Manager under the Marine Corps’ Unit, Personal, and Family Readiness Program (UPFRP). Then I moved over to the Transition Readiness Branch (TRB) with MCCS aboard MCB Camp Lejeune where I served as an Advisor and had the honor of being the Installation's SkillBridge Coordinator for MCB Camp Lejeune and MCAS New River for 3.5 years. Currently, I have the distinct honor and privilege to serve here aboard MCAS New River as the Supervisory Career Resource Coordinator to aid and assist this same target audience in their transition back to the public or private sector by helping them identify, pursue, and obtain opportunities needed for future career goals and pathways. In other words, I take deep joy in helping my brothers and sisters who are transitioning out of the military, find their next mission. And finding that next mission requires current intelligence, a good compass, and a solid azimuth.Additionally, I enjoy teaching (part-time) as an Adjunct Professor in the Management Department for the Cameron School of Business (CSB) at the University of North Carolina Wilmington (UNCW).And my favorite "side-hustle" (which I hope one day will become my main-hustle) is leading a weekly Men's Group where we help other men to grow in their knowledge and faith in our Lord and Savior, and walk in His footsteps. Real men diving into His Word, striving to be better men, husbands, fathers, and leaders, sprinkled with a healthy dose of sacasm and ridicule.
Listed skills include Communication, Military, Leadership, Military Experience, and 54 others.
