Driving new product development from start to finish. As a project Manager, my mission is to drive Cross Functional Teams to successful project completion. We work together to achieve milestones leading to the introduction of new, exciting and innovative products. Scheduling, Budgets, Presentations, Negotiations, Creation of Design Specification Note, Cost and Profit analysis are a few of the tasks.

New product development from start to finish. As Engineering Supervisor, my responsibility was to direct and lead Engineering Teams to successful design completion. We worked together to achieve reliable, low cost of ownership, material handling equipment. Responsible for the development of material handling equipment for all Classes I thru V, including Mast development.

As Project Engineer, my responsibility was to lead Engineering Teams to successful design completion of new product development from start to finish. We worked together in teams to design, develop and bring to market reliable, low cost of ownership, innovative material handling equipment. Primarily responsible for the development of material handling equipment for all Classes I thru V, including Mast development.

Lead team of Maintenance technicians to ensure the facility and production equipment operated efficiently and was effectively maintained. Developed and continuously improved PM tasks and spare parts inventory systems utilizing MP2, MS Excel and Access. The PM's were based off historical data, previous machine repairs, meter readings, thermal imaging, amp draw and vibration analysis. Managed projects for all new equipment installations. Including Machine tools, Welding robots, Automation fixtures, weld tooling, full product assembly and weld lines. Installations involved utilities (water, gas, weld gas, 480V, 120V), concrete, floor epoxy, crane, hoist, fixture, tooling and machines. Project responsibilities included scheduling, budgeting and ensuring the contractors completed the jobs per the schedule on time and within the budgets. Performed and trained technicians on maintenance and trouble shooting for all types of equipment utilizing PLC's, VFD's and relay logic.

Responsible for the design and development of Class I, IV and V Forklift masts, 2 stage and 3 stage. This included carriage, hydraulics, structural analysis and development. Modifications Engineering developed custom designs and features/accessories for all classes of lift tucks. Designs included special masts, OHG, Cabs, attachments and accessory equipment. These designs were developed for customer specific applications.

Development of Class I, IV and V 3 stage Forklift masts . This included carriage, structural analysis, internal hose reeving and hydraulic cylinder development. Utilizing UGS Ideas 3D model development and structural analysis. Compiling ECN's and control of BOM and Part number structure. Developed procedures and processes to increase productivity through the engineering department.

Designed and developed customer specific options. These items were requested by customers to provide specific features and benefits to the material handling equipment we manufacture for their application. All items required research and design to ensure they complied with all regulations and safety requirements along with ensuring the design was robust for the material handling industry.
