I’ve been involved in relational database development since 2005; most of that experience is with Microsoft SQL Server. Every year technology brings us new and exciting things, but one thing that has not changed is the value of the relational database. The bulk of my experience has been with ETL, and the tool of choice has been SSIS. I’m interested in expanding those skills to the cloud-based version of SSIS, Azure Data Factory. I’m also interested in Analysis Services (SSAS) and I have tons of experience writing and maintaining stored procedures. One of my passions as an IT professional is learning new software and methods and I plan on seeking those things wherever I am. I’m looking for an organization that values individual growth, teamwork, life/work balance, location flexibility, and operational efficiency. Even though I’m interested in location flexibility, I do miss the camaraderie of the workplace. I bring positive energy and humor as often as possible. I look forward to meeting you!
