On CDD/AML, he introduced a single global way of working and led the development and rollout of a global CDD system.

ITI services 60 countries, it is concentrated in approximately 15 countries, with its Head Office being co-located in Utrecht (NL) and London (UK). In this role Rob focused on data center consolidation. Many different data centers were managed back to two professional data centers per continent, with a much higher quality and a serious cost reduction.

This includes datacenters, infrastructure, application support, vendor management, control rooms, business continuity management, and security operations. IT Operations services 6 million customers via Internet Banking and Mobile Banking. IT Operations also services 40.000 employees in 1.000 branches and offices. The main challenge in this job was turning the organization towards a more competitive and customer focused culture. He introduced Lean principles to help and support the managers to change their performance. With this change he introduced a culture of continuous improvement that helped IT Operations to stay competitive in comparison to external providers. He also managed towards a more flexible way of working within Rabobank. Working from home, free seating, video conferencing where the main technical elements of this program. Even more important where the workshops on cultural and leadership change.

The Head of IT Application Development is responsible for the IT development and maintenance of applications for the Retail Bank in the Netherlands. Rob managed the outsourcing of programmers and testers to Ordina in the Netherlands and Cognizant in India.
