As a Management Team member my focus is on company growth and innovation. I achieve this with the different roles I have in the company: Product management Define product strategy, support the team and product delivery. I love figuring out the why and the how. We just finished a completely new ecommerce product for the travel industry that makes it possible for smaller Travel companies to compete with the leading Tour operators. Account management I spend a lot of time consulting our clients on ecommerce and how to use our products. This ranges from full web concepts to website enhancements, always aimed at: more traffic, more engagement, more conversion & more retention. With my background as a project manager and technical experience I am equipped to make promises that we can keep. I make sure of this by taking an active role managing and supporting the project managers & product owners of the several independent project teams. I take special interest in motivating all the team members.Resource & Development One of my favorite responsibilities at NetMatch is to manage the R&D team. Together with this team we try to look into the future of E-Commerce and web development. Some of the topics are natural language processing, system learning/deep learning, personalization based on big data (DMP) and the semantic web.
